Sea Freight Export Coordinator Required
Responsibilities:
• Managing and coordinating the export of goods via sea freight.
• Arranging and optimizing shipping routes and schedules.
• Ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Negotiating contracts and rates with shipping carriers.
• Handling documentation, such as bills of lading and export permits.
• Tracking and monitoring shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Resolving any issues or delays that may occur during the shipping process.
• Coordinate the export of goods by sea. This includes booking space with shipping lines, arranging for pickup and delivery of cargo, and preparing and submitting all required documentation.
• Manage customer relationships.
• Sea export coordinators work closely with customers to understand their needs and ensure that their shipments are handled efficiently and accurately.
• They also provide updates on the status of shipments and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Sea export coordinators must be familiar with the latest export regulations and ensure that all shipments comply with these requirements. They may also be responsible for obtaining export licenses and other permits.
