Dubai-based manufacturing company, is actively seeking to hire a Chief Accountant.
Experience: Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in Cost Accounting & Taxation.
Qualifications Education/ Qualification:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) cleared in 1st or 2nd attempt is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.
• In-depth understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial modeling tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain cost accounting systems to track and allocate expenses accurately.
• Analyze production costs, overheads, and cost variances to identify areas for cost optimization.
• Prepare cost reports and provide cost-related insights to management.
• Analyze financial statements, reports, and data to assess the financial health of the organization.
• Maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
• Prepare and file VAT returns, corporate tax, and other tax-related documents.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards.
• Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
